In the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
Chessell Café is set in the heart of the beautiful West Wight of the Isle of Wight, easily accessed from the many surrounding footpaths and bike trails, making it the perfect stop off! Once a working Pottery, it is now a light, spacious and comfortable place to relax and unwind, with delicious food and drinks, and treat yourself from our amazing selection of all homemade cakes! With log burners inside to snuggle up in front of on a winter’s day, we also have a beautiful and tranquil courtyard garden where you can chill out under the shade of our Willow tree in summer. The size of our building means it is a fantastic place to meet up with friends, family or have a special celebration.

FOOD & DRINK
We offer delicious, cooked-to-order breakfasts and lunches.
Breakfasts are served from 10:00 to 11:45; lunches from 12:00 to 14:15 – vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free are catered for.
At Chessell Café we serve locally-roasted barista coffee, along with a variety of teas, hot chocolates and soft drinks; and being fully licenced, we are happy to serve beers and wines, and the odd cocktail or two!
OUR CAKES
We lovingly hand-bake a vast selection of cakes in our kitchen at Chessell – although the selection changes daily as we have fun finding new recipes to add to our range, most of the traditional cakes can always be found with something to please almost every taste.
Bookings
Booking is highly recommended at all times of the year.
Group bookings and family parties are welcomed wherever possible.
Please give us a ring to discuss your requirements.
This must be done by telephone as our diaries are kept at the Café.
